Does anyone know if this is a real issue or dealth with anything like it? I've always wondered about it. I will often start to feel unwell and crave sugar with the thought it will fix it and then I eat the sugar product, feel ok for a few and start to feel worse again. I also have a chronic vulvar issue although I test negative for yeast overgrowth or vaginal infection. I also get episodes of dizziness. Dr.s havent found anything wrong.

My blood sugars have always tested out fine, I have two diabetics in the house so I test on occasion.

A simple stool test can be done to determine if someone has Candida yeast overgrowth. If there are food sensitivities, a special blood test such as an ALCAT or RAST panel is done to identify reactive foods. This is important because while food allergies are easily noted, it’s more difficult to pinpoint the cause of food sensitivity since the reaction can take 8–72 hours.
