For about a week now my boyfriend has several small bumps on his right testicle. Very visible on the surface of the skin. He said initially they were a bit hard, now they are soft to the touch. A pharmacist told him that it was most likely jock itch since he also has a little itching in his inner thigh. He was told to buy this jock itch cream to put on it twice a day. But quite frankly I'm not seeing a real difference. But he swears it getting better, or drying up. Have any of you ever expierenced anything like this before? I keep telling him to go to the doctor's to get it checked but I think he's a bit embarrassed so he want go. Please help me to help him. Thank you!!

Could very well be jock itch but the bumps don't fit with what I'm used to. It is not uncommon for pubic hair follicles to become impacted and swell a bit or to even develop pimples there. I'd keep an eye on them and look for changes in size, color, swelling or pain....if any of those happen I'd be seeing a doc just to make sure. Yep, for some reason we don't like doc visits expecially when it involves the equipment, but sometimes you gotta do it. If he continues to refuse then something like, "OK, when it all rots and falls of don't come whineing to me" might work! hehe

Lance, thank you very much for responding. I hope that it is 'only' jock itch. As I said he swears its "drying" up and he knows his equipment better than me. Thanks again.
