View Full Version : testicle lumps

for the past year or so, give or take, i noticed a small almost pea sized lump in my left testicle. recently it has become rather "uncomfortable" and has grown a bit with increased sensitivity on the lump itself. it is not my entire testicle that hurts, just the lump alone. it is in one centralized location so as my ball moves so does the lump. it always stays in the same spot. there is no swelling associated with this and i don't know what or who to talk to about this. i don't even know what kind of doctor i need to see. obviously it has been untreated for quite some time now, but until just a few weeks ago it really wasn't much of a problem. i have done the research on this and (not that it matters) but most signs of testicular cancer indicate the lump to be painless but mine definitely is NOT. any info or feedback would be very much appreciated. thank you....

I'd call my regular doc and ask for an exam. When making the appt, just tell the person you need a physical, that'll keep you from having to explain if you're uncomfortable. Then let the doc check it, it could be nothing but you really shouldn't have pain there.
