Is it normal for a guys penis to drip?
What exactly would make this happen?

Now that I know that I have a follow up question. Do you notice this after masturbation or any time after an ejaculation? If so, remember that the semen travels through alot of tubing to be ejaculated and even after "being done" there is still some left that will eventually seep out through the penis. Its best to "milk it out" shortly after you're done so that this doesn't stay in your underwear or whatever. If its not happening after an ejaculation but is just dripping from time to time that is another matter. I've had several times where I wasn't active for a while and actually released some semen after urinating and that was sorta freaky. But I'm not aware that leaking semen is something that happens. However, there is only so much room for "storage" and the body only reabsorbs so much semen so I suppose it is possible. Should'nt really have anything to do with not having sex, but would probably have alot to do with decrease ejaculation of semen. The solution then would seem to be masturbate to reduce the amount of semen. Another question, how often does this happen? Is it possible that the dripping is from an STD? You might want to answer these questions and then I'll take another stab at the "problem"

I agree with Lance. If it is urine that is dripping, then my suggestion would be to see a urologist. However, it could possible semen. Sometimes if I go for a while without a release, I will squirt semen after I urinate. There is a possibility that it could be that.

Could it be possible that it happens as a result of slight stimulation like underwear rubbing up against the head or someone touching it?

Could most definately be from that. You mentioned someone touching it...if you're into some heavy petting or rubbing against your girl probably what this is is precum. We all produce precum as part of the initial ejaculatory process, some of us just produce much more than others. Does this sound like what is happening?

It's normal for pre-ejaculate to happen when you're aroused, and I've found the more aroused I become the more it drips. If it's been awhile since the last time it seems to "drip more". So like the other guys have said it is possible this is what it is.
