I'm 19/m OK, now you have me interested. Normally, working out should increase your testosterone over time and you should have the exact opposite of shrinkage (assuming you are not using steroids). So, are you saying you have low beard growth and shrinking testicles? If so, that is a sure sign of low testosterone, especially in a 19 year old. Have you been taking any medications or illegal drugs? Do you have other symptoms like decreased libido, muscle pains, irritibility, weight changes, or fatigue? Did you start working out because you muscle mass is low? ryno 08-13-2001, 11:21 PM Well, I have been using a product called RIPPED FUEL containing the active ingredient called MA-HUANG also known as ephedrine using it along with pyruvate. I had used this product when I was sixteen and used it for a year before quitting it. It worked; I’ve lost 30 pounds, toned up and body was more defined. But quitting it made me feel awful and I gained all the weight back and more. It was like a drug; I had mood swing using it and didn’t sleep for days. After I quitting I felted real sick, couldn’t sleep (still have that problem today), weight gains, loss of hair (not as thick as it use to be), chronic sore throat, and more. I’m not sure about low testosterone—I’m 6’0 tall and weight 250 built like a football player or a wrestler, my body has pretty good bit of muscle just to much fat, and I have a pretty deep voice too. So I don’t think that I have low testosterone. It just that while I work out, like lifting weight, my testicle and penis would tense up. But after the workout it would be back to normal; testicle go back and hang like normal. It’s kind of hard to explain, its not shrinking, shrinking like getting smaller and smaller. But if a guy workout does the penis and testicles become larger cause of the increase of testosterone from workouts? So to your question Orion, yes to fatigue, weight changes, irritability cause I think it was the RIPPED FUEL but for libido (?) don’t know what that is. My muscle mass is fine but I need to lose weight. I can’t grow a beard at all either. orion 08-14-2001, 01:22 AM Wow, I looked up ephedrine and the first two sites called it a dangerous drug with 800 reported deaths associated with its use! I sure don't like the sound of what your telling me. Let me get it straight, you have yoyo dieted losing 30 and gaining more, sleep problems, weight gain, hair loss, chronic sore throat, over weight (officially obese I think), irritible, no beard growth and more! I guess I would like to know what the more is. Is it stomach problems, vision changes, dry skin, dry eyes, easy nose bleeds, low libido (not much interested in sex or masturbation), night sweats, sweaty hands (when you shake someones hand) or what? Right now I would guess you have a fairly serious condition. Could be diabetes, low thyroid, low testosterone, adrenal problems, or some other related trouble. At any rate, it isn't normal. The testicle thing sound normal to me and its the least of your worries. focus 09-02-2001, 10:04 PM Originally posted by ryno: Do your penis and testicle start going up and shrinking while working out? Like lifting weights and all. I'm 19/m Yep - same thing here. I lift weights once in a while and I noticed my penis shrinking and testicles retracting when working out. Its normal, and is caused by increased blood flow to the muscles you are working out. The size of the penis is completely controlled by blood flow. Even when flacid, the penis holds a lot of blood. When you work out or do any rigorous exercise, the brain redirects the flow of blood to the muslces that are being worked the hardest. Often, this means less blood ends up in the penis, and it shrinks. Also, less blood down in the groin region means cooler temperatures down there, which is why the scrotum pulls the testicles up toward the body, to keep the testicles at the right sperm producing temperature. Hope this answers your question. GTIVR6 12-07-2003, 07:23 PM ryno - Ephedrine is a vaso-dilator. In English, that means that it constricts or shrinks blood vessel width. Since your penis is mostly blood vessels, it SHOULD shrink to a cocktail weiner when using Ephedra or something like it. A side note...if Ephedra is shrinking your penis, imagine what it's doing to the rest of your organs, as many vital organs are LOADED with blood vessels. I wouldn't be concerned with your shrinking nuts, rather your shrinking heart and lungs while working out. Food for thought... G kidprinceton 12-09-2003, 11:06 AM Yes, I have the same problem when lifting weights. Especially when I am doing very tiring reps, I sometimes actually have to stop and check if its still there or gone in, hehe, no kidding. I have checked with my friends, we all have the same problem, even my dad said he had this problem when he used to exercise years ago. So relax and keep up the good health !!! In fact, I've found that things return to normal size pretty quickly after I stop working out. Within like 10-20 minutes or so. Gaedon 01-15-2004, 08:14 PM I'm going to the gym monday morning, and then that night I'm going out with a chick and yeah i was wondering if the weight lifting in the morning will affect the ability of my penis, be it either getting it up, or the size (as weight lifting temporarily shrinks it, will it be back to normal like 5-10 hours later?) thank you. |
