How can I remove hair growing along the shaft of my penis. What are the methods available? Is shaving the only way? Are there any creams that I can obtain from pharmacies? I'd like to know if the removal is permanent and painless, and if any irritation will result.

Has anyone any experience on this?

Its pretty common for us to have pubes on the penis shaft. NO, do not use creams or anything that is a hair remover on any of your equipment, this could lead to some really painful consequences. I suppose that if you don't want it there the only thing to do is CAREFULLY shave it away...but its gonna keep coming back so you'll have to keep shaving it away. Why does it bother you? Just a question for thought!

It's just hair. Do you have a forest or something - otherwise I wouldn't worry `bout it. It's common for all.

Yes it is just hair, but if it goes up too far, it can be abrasive to her lips. (all of them.)

Perhaps (I wouldn't know) but are we talking about hair or a brillo pad. If a man shaved his shaft wouldn't the stubble be worse? Just a thought to ponder... :-)

Try electric clippers with the small attatchment on it, It will cut it close enough without getting skin, which by the way hurts. Also it's not as abrasive on either of her lips. :P:

Thanx for the replies. The reason why I asked is because the hair down there interferes with oral sex.

To the ladies out there, what's your opinion about oral sex on a hairy thing?

pull it out if you really want to. I did that once. Took some duct tape and tore it in a few little strips, and fold it in half over the hair. Hurts like biatch though.

honestly I don't see how bad the situation could be.. IF it really is bad I wouldn't shave it.. you'd have to pluck them but I have no clue how thats going to feel or if its dangerous. But don't feel too bad because some of the woman aren't exaclty hair free..

As a female-I don't really mind all that much. However-if a guy trims it's SO MUCH BETTER!
Men are hairy-women know that. I agree that it is not such a big deal, but if you do want to remove it, I recommend seeking out a professional to do it for you. You shouldn't use over the counter creams on that area, and shaving can be more of a pain for the woman than having the hair there. If you shave it gets spikey and who wants to get stabbed in the face with a sharp pube?
I think trimming is enough...but thats just my opinion.

I think hair on the shaft would be bothersome, especially if your penis is not very long, if you want your woman to give you good oral. Hair in the mouth is yukky.

I agree. Just trim. Do not shave. I did once and it was great for a few days. Then my wife woould start getting stabbed with the stubble and that was not cool at all. Didnt get much action for a while till my hair was nice and silky again. ;)

I shave both my shaft and balls. I do this because the hair did cause discomfort for my girlfriend. I shave everyday in the shower right after I shave my face. It takes only a couple seconds and it is all over.

I know just what you mean. trimming won't solve the lip problem. Shaving wont' either.

If it's not a lot, use tweezers. that's the best way because it will last longer and won't turn into stubble an hour later like with shaving.

Otherwise, use a condom, or if you insist on going bareback, maybe try cutting one in half and just using the bottom half to cover the hair.
It will definitely affect her eagerness if you don't find a solution, that's for sure.

The best time for me to shave was in the shower first thing in the morning everyday But I would recommend electrolysis if you really want it gone I did this to my shaft about 5 year ago it was very easy took about Six 2 Hour trips in to get it all it is very smooth. I had a lot of hair on my shaft.

Question about the electrolysis - this may cause laughter, but...does your penis need to be soft to undergo the electrolysis, or does it matter? Reason I ask is that I can't imagine anyone touching my penis and my not getting an erection. I would probably be hard during the procedure. I'm sure whatever pain there may be would not change matters either, I'm just that easlily aroused. Not sure if this is a problem or not, as I have never had electrolysis. Any expert opinions?

If you get a erection they will just keep on going. I never got a full hard on when It started to get hard I would think of something off the wall to help make it soft. I wish you luck you will love it after you get it done.

Well the price per hour I paid was 70 took about $500 to remove the hair I had a lot of hair. So it depends on what they charge per hour and how much hair needs to be removed.
Hope this will help.

KG, does electrolysis hurt? What does it feel like? I read somewhere that it's quite hot (heat is used?) and painful, is it?

ack! i don't know about the other chickies out there, but i think shaft hair would be just the thing to keep me from coming back... women go through the pain of eyebrow plucking to look beautiful for men, so why not pube-plucking pain for us gals?

Yes a bit. Like pulling hair out 1 at a time some will hurt some don't. You will fill hot spots but that gone just after the hair comes out. Not heat is not used just electric prob. Yes you will have some pain a few that just to want to let go.
In all you will love the smooth feeling not hair no stubble.
