It can be uncomfortable, but it's not undiginifed. Doctors are professionals.

Plus, you're always covered by a sheet so you're technically not really exposed.

I really would not worry about it. They are doctors. It has nothing to do with that. It's an object to them. Think of all the people that have been to them. Your stomach and upper body is covered. I went to a midwife/nurse practitioner for my exam and she was quite good.
