Hi guys, back in April, i found that i have pain/discomfort on my right testi. Went to see doc and he said i got NGU and given my doxy for 2 weeks. After that went back to him, he said it's clear. But after another 1 week, the pain is back.Went back and he gave me another two kinds of antibiotics for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, the pain is still there even on medication. He told me to find a urlogist and mean while given me 2 weeks of doxy. Went to urlogist, he ask me to do ultra scan on my testi, he told me i got prostatitis. Given me 4 weeks of cipro. After this 4 weeks, i still have the pain and symptoms.Can anyone tell me more about this prostatitis? I will have discharge while pasing motion(not very often though) but the discomfort on the right testi is on and off.
Can anyone give me some advice? And besides that, i have a few questions,
1) Is Prostatitis curable? I read from net that it's difficult to cure. Is it true?
2) Is this counted as STD?
3) How is prostatitis transmitted? By sex? or what?

Hello it might sound like you have epididymitis. I had a chronic pain in and around my right testicle for 2 months before several docs found out what it was. He put me on cipro. I have been on it for almost 2 months and its finnaly getting better. Also check for the listing i have under testicular pain. It goes into more detail. good luck
