Hello - I got my first depo provera shot about 3 weeks ago on my first day of period and it hasn't stopped yet. I know this can cause irregular bleeding/spotting and a lot of women have had trouble with it.. I've been reading a lot about taking estrogen (like a low dose birth control pill with it) to help stop the bleeding. My doctor is a pain to get a hold of and I probably won't be able to ask until next week. Would it be dangerous if I tried taking some of my low dose pills I was on before I started this stupid shot? I know it can make the birth control part inneffective but I'm not really worried about that.. I just want my period to stop.
