I had my gallbladder removed Sept. 2008 and had problems with nausau and belching - I would be fine for two weeks and then I would have an episode. I went to the gasterologist and he thinks I have a stone left after my surgery. If I do I waited so long - can you get an infection? how hard is it to get the stone out? Did this happen to anyone?

A total blockage of course would be a medical emergency.

Having the gallbladder removed does not preclude gallstones from forming. It is possible that you are having stones form in the biliary duct.

They could use the ERCP procedure to go into the ducts and remove stones.
