My abdomen is hurting right in the middle just under my ribcage. The pain is off and on. It hurts real bad for about 5 seconds at a time and then stops. it does this every few minutes. Then i hear a gas bubble sometimes in my stomach and it stops hurting as bad. It's been doing this off and on for a few days. Whether I have just ate or not, doesn't seem to change anything.

I had symptoms similar to yours and just now got back from having an upper endoscopy. They diagnosed me with a hiatal hernia; maybe that's what you have?
