Here is a little medical history which may or may not be relevant. 24 year old male. Chronic heartburn and off and on constipation -which were highly dependent on diet. Bad breath.

6 months ago I came to live in Bolivia. I've had a few attacks of diarreah. A month ago I went to a nice restaurant (clean food) and ate a big meal (I am a soccer player). Aftewards I felt a bit off. The only thing different about the meal I remember was eating vegetables which were mixed in a lot of olive oil. The next morning I woke up feeling bad. I kept burping sulfur burps, and I felt worse and worse all day until I threw up. Then I had diarreah. The next day I felt 100%.

Last week I cooked up a chicken soup and then ate it and felt a bit off. I woke up at 4:30 in the morning burping sulfur and threw up. I even threw up a bit of blood at the end of it, but it was just a little and at the end of throwing up for a minute. I went to a doctor who just gave me an injection to stop me from throwing up so I wouldn't vomit more blood. Oddly, no diarreah.

For the entire last week I have continuous feelings of nausea, bloated stomach after I eat, and a lot of burping especially after meals (NOT sulfur burps).

One note about my diet: for the last couple of months I have drunk a full liter of soy milk or chocolate milk everyday after going to the gym. I think that could be related, but... I have always eaten soy products which sat great in my stomach... and I haven't had any milk this last week and my constant nausea continues...

i am confused at this point if i have parasites, or my diet is bad, or my stomach is recovering, or if i am eating dirty food? also this is harder cause i have little faith in bolivian doctors to help me with a problem as nuanced as this. help?
