Hello,

I just have a quick question to pose here.

I have recently started Diane 35 to help with my acne and regulate my periods and I've started feeling some tingling in my lower legs and also a little bit in my hands. The first three days on the medication were fine and I didnt get any side effects. So far the tingling is the only side effect I'm experiencing.

I googled on line and it said to not take any more pills if you experience bad pins and needles in your legs. Well, this isn't bad per say...it's quite mild and I wouldn't even consider it pins and needles because its not really numbness or anything. I'm not having any pains and there's no swelling either.

Has anyone else experienced this with this BCP or any others?

I do plan on talking to my doctor but I can't get an appointment for another week as she is on holiday until the 22nd

Hi there, Ive been on Diane 35 for 13-14 yrs now. I have that tingling constantly in my right arm/wrist and shoulder and my lower calves come and go. Where i feel i need to stretch it sometime or rub it. It bothers me the longer I have on them. I also started this pill for acne and it cleared completely in 6 months and has stayed clear except one or two little ones here or there around that time of the month. I have side effects but I cannot say if they are 100% due to the pill. But I am coming off them now so i'll update you. If I were you I wouldnt stay on them like I did. I think it had contributed to my issues.
good luck

Did you ever speak to a doctor about the tingling? And if so what did they say? Just curious

At the time I didnt think it was because of the pill cause I type on a computer all day and i worked out a lot then so I thought it was that. But then I talked to other girls later on that are on the birth control and they also had the tingling. So i think its cause of the pill. I went to the doctor recently and asked and she didnt really give me an answer except for maybe arthritis or something..lol. im going off them now so ill letcha know if the tingling goes away or not. i think its from the pill cause i remember it starting around that time.It went away for awhile but its back the last yr. hmmm curious if anyone has had this happened and has an answer. sorry couldnt help you more. :)
