View Full Version : Penis Bleeding...

Ok, here is the story:

My boyfriend and I had sex the other night (for the first time, actually), but he didn't have an orgasm. The long and the short of it is, he was aroused for much of the night, but he never orgasmed, for reasons beyond our control, which I don't care to go into here.

Anyway, when he got home that night and he was getting ready for bed, he noticed a few drops of blood on the front of his boxers. Then, he said that he squeezed his penis a little bit and a small drop of blood came out of the tip.

The last two days, he's been completely normal. There's no pain or blood when he urinates, and he had an orgasm the next day and there was no blood at all.

I told you all the stuff about that night because HIS theory is that he just had a really bad case of blue balls or popped a blood vessel or something.. But I don't really know if that's possible.

Personally, I want him to go to the doctor, and I told him that, but he really doesn't want to go. He says he'll go if "it happens again". But I'm really nervous about it.

Has this ever happened to any of you before? Or have you heard of it? While I'm working on him to get his *** to the doctor's office, I'd appreciate some feedback or any possible ideas to what it is, because I worry about everything http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thank you so much.

Wow, that would scare the hell out of me....I'm not sure what it is. I can say this, once when my Mom was ill, she developed a really bad bladder infection, and she bled.....Take care

I personally have never had that happen before. I certainly don't think its normal and wouldn't mess around with it at all....I'd have my butt on the way to the doc! Keep encouraging him to do that, the elapsed time could actually be dangerous. It is good that its not happened again and he did have an ejaculation the next day without problem.

I'm leaning towards your BF's theory. If he has trouble urinating or it happens again, then a doctors visit is definitely warrented.

Wow!! Your experience is almost the same as mine. I am 56 and my lover 73. We "pleasure" by oral sex only.
He had surgery on one testical. We both enjoy the oral sex. The last two times he has had "a few drops of blood" after orgasm. He will not see the Dr about this. Since he won't, I am going to talk to my Dr about this problem. Like you I worry!! If you do find out anything let us know and I in turn will do the same!! betlow

Kate,
Doesn't sound serious since it only happened once. Prolonged erections without climax, especially if there was a lot of squeezing while erect can pop small vessels or crack the skin inside or near the tip of the penis. This happened to me a couple of times during some rough sex. Be more gentle and make sure he ejaculates to relieve the pressure.

I got the same thing on my first experience. what happened was that he ripped his frenulum. a thin peice of forskin that connects to the head. nothing really to worry about. it will be fine in a week.

messed that quote up!!

What was supposed to be said was that my frenulum also broke a couple of weeks ago, it bled alot, and i let it heal for a week, but a couple of days ago it happened again, so this time ill make sure ill let it heal for 3 weeks.

It's not a nice experience and i am worried that it'l happen again in the future because it cud be weaker now?!!

My frenulum tore for a while. It was driving me crazy, and I was afraid it would keep happening. The good news is that, after a few tears, it healed stronger, and never ripped again. It's been probably 20 years, with no problem.
