Hello, about 4 months ago a blood test said that I have colitis antibodies. The name of the colitis antibodies found were/are Saccharomyces cerevisiae. A colonoscopy biopsy found that everything was normal. Afterwards I had a small bowel series to rule out Chron's or see if there was a reason for the colitis antibodies. The small bowel series also came up normal. Basically, I have no idea why I was supposedly found to have colitis antibodies.
My question is:, will taking Nexium have any effect on my colitis antibodies? What other more serious Digestive side effects (by serious, I mean long-lasting) could the Nexium have?
I just don't want my reports and lab results to look one way before taking Nexium, and look really different afterwards.
