i'm 25 and have just begun the oral contraceptive pill, Aviane. This is the fourth different combined pill I've tried (the others were Ortho Tri-cyclen, Ortho Novum 777, and Kariva) With each of them, I have had cramping in my right arm. I'm five pills into the pack, and just started to have this issue this morning. I always end up just stopping the pills, then waiting forever to even try a new one, but I'd really like to find something for bc purposes and because I have very irregular cycles.

I've been concerned in the past with other pills (paranoid about blood clots) and made appointments with the prescribing physicians, but each time, I've been told to just continue the pills and take vitamins. Today when I was having the cramping, I took some ibuprofen which helped. I'm wondering if anyone else has had anything similar (arm cramping) occur on the pill, and what you did about it.
