Hi could someone help me please? I had an endoscopy 5 days ago which showed that I had inflammation in my stomach and mild flat erosions which had evidence of recent bleeding. I already knew that I had Gallstones. I had biopsy taken. I do not have H.Polyia. I was given ppi to take for 6 weeks. My question is what would have caused this if it is not H.Polyia? I am female and 32 years old. Thank for taking the time to read this post and if any one can keep me to understand I would be most greatful. lol girlie77

Besides H. Pylori, things like bile reflux, aspirin, alcohol, allergies can cause inflammation of the stomach.
When you receive biopsy results you should have a better idea about what is going on.
PPI's while they can calm the stomach in some cases may weaken the contractions of the gallbladder.
