I have been paying for gel nails. They used a powder. Is gel powder or liquid?

Traditional acrylic is a 2-part system comprised of a liquid and powder. Gel is a one-part system that is a gooey consistency acrylic that is applied as a one-step system and cured under a UV light. No, you didn't get gel nails.
