Since last Friday I have been experiencing left abdominal stabbing & cramping pain from right below my ribs down to adjacent to my belly button. It hurts the worst in the morning and comes with nausea. I also am experiencing fatigue and lightheadedness along with painful bowel movements and rectal bleeding. It hurts when I eat and I feel full really quickly. Then an hour later I'm starving and feel like I haven't eaten in weeks. It is definitely not gastritis or reflux as I've had that before. I got referred to a gastroenterologist with an appt this tues. and was told I'll need a colonoscopy. I feel better when I am standing up or laying down and is tender to the touch. I have a daily intake of between 25-30 grams of fiber, take stool softeners and fiber supplements.

I've been trying to do research on the web to figure out what this could be and the only thing it kind of matches is diverticulitis. Any ideas as to what this could be?
