Hey I just told my man that I have Genital herpes. we have not had intercourse and I need to understand how I can protect him best. He is very nervous, understandably.

There are a few things you can do .. always use protection.. you can also go on suppressive therapy if you do both of these things you will put him at a 1% risk per year @ having sex 2 times a week.

Some couples will take it a step further and let the man keep his boxers on in addition to using a condom..but i honestly do not feel like that is the best route (i know it makes me feel dirty) but to each is own:)
