View Full Version : Frenulum & attached foreskin

I have read a lot of messages about foreskin problems, frenulum etc.

Here are my problems:
1) My frenulum seems to short. I know this because I cant pull my foreskin much further than the glans (thats when its not erect). When it is erect i can barely pull it down half way.

This problem is on the bottom side of the penis (i.e. the frenulum side)
What kind of stretching exercises can I do to stretch the frenulum? I couldnt exactly find instructions on how to stretch the frenulum, althought i found instructions on how to stretch the skin if you have phimosis.

2) The second problem is:
It seems that my foreskin is attached to the head (glans) of the penis, and I dont mean the frenulum. Its not fully attached so I can retract the skin half way down the glans but cant go beyond that because the foreskin is attached to the glans in a few areas.
I seem to have ripped one such attachment site already while having intercourse.
What can I do to fix this problem without getting a circumcision?

Also for some reason when I have sex with a condom the foreskin doesnt really pull back too much and hence there is no pain, but without a condom I cannot even fully insert my penis. Anyone knows anything about this or can offer advise?

thanks

Adhesions are more difficult than simple phimosis but we have had some success http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/Forum80/HTML/000400.html .
Please read the instructions there. The adhesions may make frenulum stretching difficult too. You can try grasping the front of the foreskin and pulling it forward so that you can feel tension in the frenulum. There is a photo on the foreskin.org site, number 21, that a doctor quoted on another board to help a guy with your sort of problem. Usually you grasp the underside skin after retraction and pull back there to stretch the frenulum. Anything you can do that puts tension on the frenulum for a minute or two at a time should stretch it.
Are you sure you have not got a tight foreskin opening as well? That of course will prevent retraction too.

Thanks for replying.

Its a bit of everything I guess. I might have a slight femosis since its hard to retract the foreskin onto the shaft.

I understand what to do with the frenulum but I am not clear what to do with the adhesions? are they common? should I just try to stretch them as well?

You need to try and separate the two layers of skin a little at a time along the natural fault line. If there are tiny raw edges afterwards a little zinc cream will help prevent them sticking again. Any action you can use that gently pulls the two layers apart is the way to go. Hope this helps,
Geoff
