Hi all. First I want to thank all those that read this.

Secondly, yes I worry and am a hypochondriac and I'm not looking for a solution here...just opinions. I know most people will say 'if you're worried go to a doctor' I know this and I am going to, but I would like opinions from people's experiences.

So first off, I don't know what my lymph nodes should feel like. I know I have bumps under my skin BUT they are not visible whichever way I turn my neck. I'm thinking it could just be the natural stuff that is in there. (trachea, esophagus, muscles, thyroid, etc) I'm always worried because I feel my boyfriend's neck and I can't find the same bumps. They are located right around where you feel your pulse. (a little above that) is the area I'm concerned about...even though I have to press pretty deep to feel them...

Also, my right ear has been plugged up (not to the point of not hearing) but if I press on my neck on the right side, it goes away...so I'm afraid that maybe there IS swelling in there and it is affecting my ear stuff.

I had 3 bouts of night sweats but not for a few weeks now *knock on wood* I had the night sweats at a time of high anxiety (was diagnosed with HPV) and I was afraid I'd have cervical cancer

Would these lymph nodes be getting larger? Would the night sweats have just stopped or would they continue and get worse? (I know for a fact 1 of them was night sweats....I was drenched....2 others were just really really sweaty) I know sleep with only a sheet, and I haven't had one...

Everything else is just about the same, I'm tired, but not more than a full-time college student should be. I haven't lost weight, etc.

Could someone help me out? I'm trying to figure out if I'm swollen, if the night sweats were linked, etc.

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

To answer your question no the night sweats would not go away.As for the lymphnodes
they can swell if you have a common cold or virus or even with allergies. As for feeling your boyfriends and then your own they don't all feel the same.It all depends on the person, we do all have them in the same areas though if a person is heavier they can be harder to detect if a person is fighting an infection they will be more visible. I really don't think you are showing signs of lymphoma and i don't even think that your symptoms are related. Go see your gp you will get answers.
