my doctor told me that i might have hpv cervical cancer should i tell my partner now? i heard its a std or should i wait till they tell me for sure? and i hear that sometimes it might go away on its own should he get tested them?

Do you mean your doctor has diagnosed you with cervical cancer, or that you have one of the strains of HPV which could lead to cervical cancer (high risk HPV)?
Cervical cancer will not go away on its own. Mild dysplasia, caused by high risk HPV, can clear up (not to be misunderstood with leaves the body) on its own in some cicumstances.
