I had sex with my boyfriend at the time about 3 years ago, who then told me later after we were together he went to the doctor and found out he had herpes so i went and had a blood test, which i was told by my doctor that you cant really tell by that, so its been 3 years and i havent had any syptoms that i know of is it still possible after all this time i might have it?

Ask for an IgG herpes type specific blood test:) That will give you your answer after all these years :):)
