Do woman with PCOS have high estrogen or low estrogen?
I have pcos and am starting to get very confused. I went to the doctor in January who gave me and blood test and she said I had high estrogen, I went back last week and saw a different doctor and she said I have low estrogen due to the fact I dont have periods at all. She said that I should go on the pill which would help me.
I am having another blood test done. The first doctor I saw was very new and seemed a bit unsure so I am very confused and worried about what to do.
I dont have periods ( have not done since I was 16 I am 30 now)
My skin is terrible and I am a bit overweight.
I also find my joints are very stiff, my doctor said that this is a symptom of PCOS, she said that my body is almost thinking it is menopausal .
i am scared to go on the pill as I dont want all the side effects.
Can anyone give me some advice, does any of what the doctor says make sense?
