Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6 months now and I have had these "warts" on my genital area or I believe they are. I have not gone to the doctors because I really don't want bad news. (I know, I REALLY should!) But every time me and my boyfriend have sex I check his penis to see if anything is abnormal. It isn't... He has not had the things like I do. I REALLY want to tell him I am just scared. I don't want him to leave me. We have talked about if I have anything that we will stay together but that isn't always certain. I just feel so alone on this. I just don't understand IF i have HPV why hasn't he gotten anything... I have heard that it might take yrs, months, wks ect. I don't know it's just a little weird. It sucks too cause he lost his virginity with me. UGH, It's really depressing. I feel like I'm keeping all these secrets from him. :(

I'm guessing you got it from your previous partner.
Be smart, and go to the doctor-- until your appointment-- NO SEX until you figure out what that is.
I know it sucks, but I've been through similar situations. It's not good to ignore things; get it figured out.
And by now, your current boyfriend has been exposed to HPV, and if he doesn't know and he was to have sex with somebody else-- then it would go on to that person.
Like you probably already know; it's ignorant people who keep this circle of STD's going around.
Don't be the ignorant person! Go see your doctor.
