Do any of the ingredients in gel nails put on in a nail salon contain a petroleum base?

All acrylates are made from crude oil. The oil is refined three times until they get to the level that contains Butane. This level is further refined until it gets to another level where they can create acrylates (MMA and EMA). This is the same stuff (MMA) that they make plexiglass from. So, yes, it is made from petroleum, but I'm still not sure what you want to know.
