My son is presently taken Tegretol, Topamax, and Keppra for seizure. He has days where as he is just tired and seems depressed, then there are days where he is hyper and just raring to go, then he could be very agitated and don't want to be bothered touched or anything. All of which could actually be in one days time as well. Now could the medicines actually be working against him in combination that makes him have such alternative attitudes?

Mind you none of which ever controlled the seizures, but I do know that 2 of the medicines are for behavioral or personality issues, plus other medical problems. But, I do wonder if the medicines are what causes him the instability of his emotions. The DR wanted to add Lamictal to the medicines but due to my own research I denied this medication.
