Ok guys, just thought I'd come to you all and ask some questions. I am 18 years old, very fit, very active. Bigtime tennis player. Anyways. I am also a SEVERE hypochondriac. Its BAD. Like, I loose sleep over it.

Anyways, I have had enlarged lymph nodes in my groin, neck, underchin, and I *think* armpits (i've only just felt there because i never knew they were there...) for the past 8 years. Yes, eight years.

Like, three years ago I asked my dad (he is a doctor) about them, and he said they were fine. I go in for a check-up every year and my bloodwork has always been completely normal. But uh, my lymph nodes are always swollen, painless, IDK why. :(

Should I be extremely worried, like, go get them all biopsied?? My dad would think I was insane if I demanded that lolol. But what do you think? I'm really struggling...

Oh yeah, NO night sweats, NO itching. Just me getting nervous.

Help?

haha

What type of Doctor is your Dad? Talk to him and tell him your fears. You are so lucky to have a physician in the family....take advantage of that and let him ease your mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is a general surgeon so he deals with a lot of stuff and knows when something is or isn't wrong. I asked him before and he said it was fine. But now that I'm scared again, I guess your right, I should just ask him.

Hearing from a physician always makes things better it seems. ^^
