Hi I've to have an operation on tuesday, as I drive for a living, I just wanted to know what's the recommended recovery time needed before going back to work, thanks in advance

it took my wife after her inguinal hernia surgery 3 months to recover to the point where she could resume most of her normaly daily routine.

Thank you for the reply, I've been given 5-6 weeks before I can drive, 6-8 weeks before I can lift anything,so it's take it easy for awhile,thanks again
