Okay i was diagnosed with PCOS in april. after going threw 5 months of diet and exersise and still gaining 80lbs plus having a period for 4 months. They did there tests and when i came in in may they said it is deff. PCOS that the pain was from cysts and the hair and weight would come off once i started taking glucophage. well my blood sugar is normal its never been high. Anyways after a month they put me on bc pills cause the periods would not stop. ive been on them almost 2 months now and the glucophage as well first off my period has stoped for a total of 2 weeks thats it and not in a row. My weight has stoped climbing but isnt going down either. I eat healthy and i get what exersise i can. due to other medical reasons my exersise is limited at this time. But im just wondering they told me it would take 6 months to notice any difference. I see my doctor next month to adjust the doseing so i can only take two instead of 3 pills a day. I however will not be having anymore kids so i suppose my options are a little more open but i wonder what could be done. i know were still new to the whole thing and trial and error is expected. I just wanted to chat with other woman dealing with this.
