On 6 occasions within the last couple of weeks, when sitting doing my business, I noticed some leaking. A couple years ago I had surgery on a disk in my neck and the drugs I was on during recovery caused me to leak urine. So, I got in the habit of using a piece of tissue to "wring" out the remaining as to not ruin my underwear etc...

Anyway, recently while "wringing" I looked at the tissue and noticed white stuff that looks and feels like semen. It's not clear, but very much "ejaculate" looking.

I asked two doctors and one didn't pay much attention to my comment and stated that it is likely an infection that is causing the leaking. This is not "puss". This is "ejaculate " of some kind. Another doctor said that it makes sense to him that if you are consipated, pressure on the prostate can cause this. I was not constipated during any of these instances.

Any ideas?

If you don't ejaculate for a while, the seminal fluids can build up and during a bowl movement it's very possible for some of the fluid to be squeezed out into the urethra. Your prostate is very close to the rectum wall, so it makes sense. It's happened to me a number of times, so I think it's normal and nothing to worry about.

Ok, but...I am a daily and sometimes muti-daily ejaculator My wife and I have an excellent sex life. Believe me, there is no build up happening here. Any other thoughts?

Ok, I'll go the other way then. You have a high capacity to produce semen and you fill the storage area pretty rapidly (probably means a high testosterone level). Hence the leakage.

Unless you are experiencing muscle loss/pain, loose stool and fatigue, I would say it's normal for you.

Your prostate IS really close to the wall in your rectum, as was stated, and it can easily be felt/manipulated by sticking a finger up there, whether you are a quick-semen-producer or not. When you press on it, sometimes it kind of "encourages" semen to come out a little bit. With that in mind, I would think that an especially... um, how to say this?... large... bowel movement would also press on the prostate as it is being, um... moved. And thus your leakage. Don't worry about it. Sounds like a normal variation.

I asked my urologist about this because I thought I was some kind of freak or something, but he said it's very normal for some semen to come out during a bowel movement. He said to just urinate a little to flush it out.
Like the above posters said, the bowel movement presses on the prostate and forces semen into the urethra.
