My mate, who is highly intelligent and a great bloke, feels no cold and no fear, and doesn't relate that well to people's emotions or feelings. I was just curious if this could possibly be down to some sort of autism?? I've heard people on the autistic spectrum are very intelligent and often good at sciences, which he is.
He says he has no idea why people hate being cold. He says cold and heat is just an experience to him like light and dark. He has no heating in his house, even in winter!
As for fear, well he just doesn't have any. He said he would if his life was in danger, but as it never has been, he's never felt fear.
It wouldn't bother me if I found out he was autistic, I'm just trying to find out a reason for him being so unusual!
Thanks.
