View Full Version : Uncircumcized, foreskin penis problems

My question is about pulling the foreskin back. I have read alot of posts on this board of people having similar problems and i am also doing the stretches that were mentioned on another board. But when i pull my foreskin back (i can still only do this when its not erect) i can pull it back enough to fully expose the head of the penis but after that the skin gets kind of stuck and painful (near the ring of penis). I can pull it back alittle more but i have to hold it there and as soon as the penis gets erect it becomes almost impossible to hold it. So alot of the skin gets stuck or jammed behind the 'ring' and causes alot of pain when i try to masturbate. For years now i have only masturbated without pulling the foreskin of the penis and have gotten used to it. Not to mention that the penis head itself is really sensitive and it hurts when i try to touch it, but i know thats normal. What can i do about the skin getting stuck after i get the head of the penis out? Also after i have pulled the skin back as far as it will go and i get an erection it feels really tight and i can hardly masturbate like that. I can ejaculate but it takes a lot longer than when i do it without pulling the skin back. And any suggestions on getting the head of the penis not so sensitive?
Please help

Please ignore the post about Snapple. You don't give your age but that may be important here. Sounds as if your foreskin is not stretched enough or could possibly be "stuck" due to not ever having been completly retracted over the head and down the shaft of your penis. Certainly it's going to be very sensitive there because he's been covered for so long. If you don't mind, give us your age and how long you've been attempting to work with your foreskin and then maybe we can help with other suggestions.

I'm 16 and i haven't been regular with the streching techniques but its been about a month and a half since i started
anyway now i can pull the skin back all the way but its still painful when my penis erects so i have to let it go then
also when the penis is not erect are you supposed to see alot of veins cuz i got lots
are there any suggestions to reduce the soreness of the penis (other than just stretching everyday and letting it out?)...it still hurts to touch the head etc.
thx lance and others who helped
if i ever get to see the snapple guy i will take his snapple and shove it where the sun dont shine

I'd suggest that you keep doing the excercises and try to do it more on a regular basis, especially try the warm/hot soaking baths as this makes your skin more pliable (easy to stretch) sounds like you've made some progress, just be patient and keep trying. As for the sensitivity you'll need to work at that a bit also. Once you've got the head exposed just leave it out and let it breathe abit. You may also try using some hand lotion and gently rubbing the head for periods of time, this may help desensitize your friend more. You're gonna be sensitive because he's been covered for so long, so take your time and just work at it. You will remain really sensitive though and that's a good thing! As for the snapple guy, ignore him, he's not worth the trouble! Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

Hi,
I am 22 (nearly 23), and I have the same problem, I can pull back the foreskin but I don't like to do it as it is a bit uncomfortable. The head is very sensitive, so much so that I can't touch it.
I had a steady girlfriend for a couple of years and the first time I came in her was after eight months. This is because I wasn't sensitive enough inside her, on the other hand I am too sensitive for instance with oral sex or with the skin drawn back.

If I put on a condom it sort of tickled and was too sensitive, so I had to stop moving.
I have the same situation now.

Is there any specific cream or something I can do that will de-sensitise the head, and what kind of time-frame am I looking at to make it pleasant and comfortable?

The head of your penis is sensitive because it stays covered so much of the time, and no, you don't want it to be painful, then it's not fun! However, you do want it to remain sensitive so that it's pleasureable. I'd suggest that you begin to just work on reducing the over sensitivity by a couple of things that may work. First, try exposing the head and leaving it exposed for periods of time to the air and elements. Certainly you'll have to do this when you are alone and can pull the foreskin down and work at keeping it down for periods of time...which would mean you'll be there in all your glory! Another tip may be to use some lotion or KY jelly or vaseline and gently rub the head of your penis for periods of time. Your goal won't be masturbation although it could lead to that! Basically your friend will become less sensitive the more he is exposed to anything other than the foreskin covering him, so be creative and work with it just a bit. What you're experiencing isn't at all uncommon to those of us who are uncut. Just a question, is it possible for you to completely pull the foreskin down over the head of your penis? Just wanted to make sure you didn't need to do the stretching stuff also!

I can get the foreskin over but it feels a bit tight.
During sex it comes down itself, and it is always pretty loose for a couple of days after then it goes back to normal.
The real problem is the sensitivity.
I never pull the foreskin back when I go for a pee either, never thought to do it, I guess I should have when I was a kid. Now its just habit and more comfortable too.
Ky jelly sounds like a good plan, as the head is less sensitive when not dry. Am not particularly looking forward to walking around my apartment like that though :-)

You might want to do this at night when you're alone watching tv or in bed while reading or watching tv before you go to sleep! I don't know if walking around like that would be good either! Good luck and let me know if this helps!

Ok, things are gonna be fine, but you've got a little bit of work to do. I'm uncut, so I understand your equipment and how it works. What you're experiencing is not uncommon to those of us who are cut. You've got to stretch the foreskin so that you can move it up and down over the head of your penis with ease, then you can have an erection, masturbate, pee, etc without experiencing any pain. You'll have to be patient and work at this regularly but soon things will be fine. You need to take warm or hot soaking baths/showers and gently stretch the foreskin out away from your body and then open the "hole" by stretching it in circular motions. In doing this several times each week (a minimum of three times) you'll begin to stretch the skin so the opening is larger which will make it easier for you to move it over the head. Eventuallly you'll want to move the foreskin over the head and down and continue to do that. Be sure to do this gently and slowly...you don't want to tear or injure the foreskin. Like I said, be patient and work slowly, in time you'll notice things getting better. Keep in touch and let us know how things are going.

I'm glad you got it taken care of. What happened to n-dorphin101 can be dangerous. When the foreskin is too tight and your pull it back behind the head, it can get stuck. You get an erection which makes it tighter and traps the blood in the head. The head swells and there is no way to get the foreskin back. If not remedied, damage to the penis could occur due to the lack of blood flow. If this should happen to anyone. Lubricate the head and squeeze down on the head gently at first. This helps push the blood out of the head. Then squeeze more and try to slip the foreskin back over the head. If it doesn't work, you need to see a doctor immediately.

Along the same lines....if you get one of those erections that won't go away, or one that you don't want or can't have at the time...grip your penis near the base and hold it for a few seconds. This will decrease the blood flow and your erection will decrease also!

Let's agree on one thing, don't cut it off.

I also have a question, when I retract the foreskin over the ring, it appears as if the foreskin is still attached to the top ring, not all of it, like a little bit, and on the left side it looks like it's more attached to the side of the ring, but on the right said, there's nothing attached to the head...I'm 17 and I'm not sure if it's either taking time to release itself from the head or if I have some sort of condition

It is quite possible that your foreskin has not totally separated from the glans. Keep on working the skin forward and back, just do not force anything. It will/should eventually separate.

Is this common or is it just my body taking it's time? and how long do you think it will take until it seperates? thanks for replying.

You're a bit on then late side but it is not out of the ordinary. How long? No idea. Coat it with some baby oil to help loosen things up.

I had the same problem, just a little bit of skin on the left and right were still connceted to the glans.. it was only a little bit and i pulled it away from the glans.

It hurt a lil the day after, but seems to be ok now. Its just a little red? Is this a serious problem? or will the redness go?

Also, I can pull back my skin when flaccid without any problems, and when errect with a lil trouble, but nothing serious. Although, the peice of skin connecting my foreskin and the head of my penis (the frenulum? or somethin) is so tight and short that it pulls my head down when the foreskin goes down, and makes it near imposible to masterbate.
Will this loosen up as the foreskin loosens up too? I stretch the skin when i get an errection, also when masterbating, i pull the skin back roughly just so it doesn't hurt, but further around my head, will this loosen the skin and/or the frenulum? I also stretch it a little in the shower and only began to pull back my foreskin when I urinated this week.
Is there anything else I should be doing to loosen this skin?

Im 17 and only recently learnt that the foreskin should be pulled back (for urinating, cleaning, masterbating etc).

Just keep on pulling and stretching. You're realtively early on in the game. Keep it up. You'll know what's right. You're goal is to have the foreskin comfortably behind the head when full erect.

so far so good, the skin that was stuck to to the top of the gland completely seperated 2 days ago. Now it's time to work on the left side, so just keep stretching and moving the foreskin back and forth will finish the job?

Hey, I just wanted to let you folks know that everything's seperated and all is good, the only thing left now it a bit more stretching and I'll be finished, thanks for all your help guys/girls, I greatly appreciate it, I don't know where I'd be without your help.
