I just returned from my pharmacy getting my monthly meds filled. I am somewhat upset/angry. I know that the pharmacist/techs have obligations to be sure we understand our meds, but....

As I was standing there in line waiting on my meds and talking to my BOSS, the tech tells me mine is ready. She then says loud enough for my boss to hear (who is standing right behind me), "have you taken the lortab before." Keep in mind I have been on the same med for over a year and have used this pharmacy for my meds. I just looked at her and wanted to snatch her across the counter. I could not believe she called it by name. In the past, she said do you have any questions about your meds and have you ever taken them before? So now my boss knows I am on them and by next week everyone at the office will too...I can not even look at him.

I just do not know what to do, should I go talk to him and tell him why I am on pain meds or not? I really do not want to because its none of his business, but on the other hand I want him to know I take them for a reason.
