I was on Symbicort for a little over 2 years. I am seeing a new pulminologist and he switched me to Advair. I've actually felt more tightness in my chest the past few days since the medicine switch, but my peak flow reading is fine.

Does it just take time to get used to Advair? Is Symbicort better? What has your experience been with both preventatives? Has anyone gone FROM Symbicort to Advair? How long does it take to start feeling the effects of Advair?
