Hi, I am 42. Am on HRT. Am Perimenopausal. I have been doing pretty well on HRT which had helped saved my sanity.lol
A few months ago I had started having a backache. Last month my lower left side started hurting and I thought it was IBS. but it kept getting worse and my IBS hardly ever bothers me much. So I went to the doctor and thought too it could be kidney stones since I had had them 10 yrs ago. Had that check and no go so this week I had another CT and ultrasound done. I have been feeling tired, full and achy really bad in that lower side. I have felt pressure on my stomach when I use the bathroom and have been bloated alot. I have gained about 5-7 pounds lately. My periods are a little irregular. Thought perhaps it could be an ovarian cyst. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem? Thank you, snowdove

Hi! I have the experience, too. I had a hysterectomy about 18 years ago. Now I am booked to have exploratory and then possibly ovaries out. The tubes are inflamed which the Dr tells me is a normal occurance many years after uterus removal. My pain seems worse walking or standing. The bloating seems somewhat better after taking 1000mg of flaxseed oil once a day for about a month now. Originally I took it for "creaky" joints and discovered the bloating went down somewhat,also. I too have IBS and the flaxseed helped that big time. I guess this hasn't been too much help, other than to let you know you are not alone.

Hi,Thank you for responding. It does help to know I am not alone. I will try the flaxseed and see if it helps bloating. I hate that. I just hate waiting on the test results. Thank you again for you help. Polly
