I saw a few posts by other women around my age ( I'm 46) telling of the same problem, but i lost their posts when moving to the new board site. I hope you guys are still around to read my post and email me back. I am suffocatingly hot, all the time! I seldom wear a coat, even in 30 degree weather. If i go into stores or shops or my daughters schools, I sweat to the point of embarrasment and feel as if i'm going to faint or explode from spontaneous combustion. This is really cramping my lifestyle. AND....it is not periodic like a hot flash may be, this is a constant. It's been coming on for years but if it gets any worse i'm going to have to become a nudist!! HELP ME I"M BURNING!

Hi! I am 48 and find evening primrose oil a major help with the heat although I was not hot ALL the time. It could hit me at any time for short periods of time so I take one in am and one in pm 500 mg. I don't know if that is helpful but I was sure glad I researched and found something that finally worked. I used to get really "b....y" at the time the "heat" came rising out of my body and it is a relief to not have that either!

Boy I've been hot for a couple years now. DH keeps covering me up at night says I'm spreadeagle on bed with chill bumps, but, it feels good to me. It's really easier in the winter when I can peal clothes off and step outside to cool off again. But, when summer gets her, I turn into a dishrag... I have got to get control of the Hot times as well. Going to find out if I can get back on some HRT, after having major surgery in past year, and possibly go back on it. Maybe it will help... Just for a few summers I would love to be running cool for a change...
