Hi all,

Sometimes I have bad acid reflux, recently, my friend suggests me to take aloe vera. So aloe vera juice or gel should I take? Should I take it daily base? Can anyone share which brand is better? From my endoscopy results, they found I have Gastritis with intestinal metaplasia from the biopsy.

Can anyone help?

Thank you!

i wouldn't thing a brand name would matter.

Do which form you feel comfortable with , such as the capsule or juice.
Either one will work the same.

I myself take the capsule.

I have experimented with aloe vera juice and tried using the natural kind you get in the health food store (the kind that has no sugar and tastes awful) and that seems to help a bit more when I've eaten things I should not have. I do take Nexium twice a day and sometimes take a swig of extra strength Mylanta at night if I feel it creeping up on me.

I also sometimes drink another kind of aloe vera juice which tastes a lot better than the natural kind and it's the sweetened version which can be found in Asian grocery stores.

Again, these don't help TREMENDOUSLY but they do help a bit more.
