Has anyone tried it? does it work or is it a myth? what has worked well for you? I just got back from the doctor he wants me to buy new shoes, socks...salt baths, and wants me to buy a solution I wear for 8 hours before washing or i can try vicks, but he said whatever i choose is going to take a long time because you have to wait until the whole nail grows out.

so anyways, i had one toenail infected now my pinky toe looks a little infected and he said my nails aren't thick but they have a bit of discoloration to them so he told me to treat all my toenails to be on the safe side.

so how do you prevent it from getting worse?

It usually gets worse before it gets better because the medication has to completely saturate the nail plate and soak deep into th esoft tissue of th eunderlying nail bed. It can take up to a full year to completely kill all the fungal spores so you must be diligent in your applications and never miss a day.

There is no reason to buy all new shoes. Spray the inside of your shoes with alcohol to dry out the leather and let it dry. Never wear the same pair of shoes 2 days in a row - always allow them to dry out between wearings - at least 24 hours. Wash your socks in hot water, laundry detergent and a little bleach. Spores cannot live where there is no moisture, so the socks would be fine after laundering.
