I banged my big toe on a door 2 days ago
It bled right away and then began oozing clear/yellow stuff from all sides of the nail
The oozing has not stopped slowed down a bit but is continous
I did not sllep all night as the toe hurt all night hours, hours of pain which at times shot into my foot
The toenail itself is white on top a bit of dried blood under it however on the side of the toe next to the other toes the skin is a little red
How to help it heal and stop the oozing? What does the oozing stuff mean infection?

The oozing stuff is normal and is due to the injury. For the pain, soak it in very cold water several times a day until the swelling and pain go away. Keep it clean and dry after that. If it is still oozing a lot, you can apply a dropor two of peroxide which will help to dry it out and prevent infection. Do not apply anti-bacterial ointment as this can cause it to become mascerated. Wear shoes that are not tight on your toes or put any pressure on your toes.
