I recently had a hysterectomy - everything was removed including my ovaries. Because I'm 39 I was told I will need to be on estrogen until I am 51. I was prescribed Ogen 0.625 (generic name: estropipate). Has anyone been on this before? I hate taking meds - am always worried about side effects. I would appreciate any information. Thanks

You can also go to webmd they give out good info on meds. So does medscape, it is on the webmd site. I didn't know you wouldn't have to take hormones the rest of your life. I had a total hyst at 23. WOW something to look forward to for me, no more hormones. They don't agree with me.

Hope those sites help you.
