Hi I'm new here. I'm 37 years old and am worried that I might be in menopause. I've never paid attention to anything that's been said about it yet, since I never thought I'd have to worry about it for a long while now. I was late for everything else - didn't start having periods til i was 18 or any figure whatsoever until about that time to. I've always been young at heart lol and feel like a kid usually.

Several times in the past few months I would suddenly get intensely hot, and sweat and feel nauseous. My periods have been increasing in flow, and I still get them pretty regularly. I'll be making an appointment with the doctor later and am wondering about questions I should ask.

This morning was the latest one and I also broke down crying right after. Which really is a pain since I'm at work lol. I'm crying again now just thinking of it. What changes will I have to make? What should I do? is this normal?

Any help is appreciated

All of this is normal and could very well be due to flucuating hormones. Make and appointment with your doc to get this checked out as you plan to do. Let him/her know what has been happening to you lately and let them figure out a cause. You wondered what questions to ask should this be menopause starting.......I would basically ask them what you can expect, what the treatment options are, what options do they recommend for you know and what options later etc.
