After the bomb that was recently dropped on Prempro have most of you stopped? How are you dealing with the withdrawal if you've stopped? I have stopped cold turkey. The only thing I notice is more hair in my hand when I shampoo. Anyone care to opine on this topic?

Wasn't on Prempro but have an oestrogen implant and oral progesterone (Primolut) for half the month and no, I havent stopped. I dont know if my doctor was just well read or ahead of the times but the statistics she quoted me when I started on this course were pretty much the same as those dropped in the recent bombshell. I dont know if I will get another implant - this one expires around next April. I guess it all depends upon how the power surges are holding up. I notice them reappearing and that is how I know that the implant is wearing out. I guess I would re-evaluate at that point which is what I have always done. Power surge returns = continue the treatment :D

Hello action: I'm hoping to get a re-evaluation on HRT soon. It's really difficult to know what to do at this point. It sounds like you are doing well on yours though.
