I don't know if this is where I should ask this question but here it goes. I am only 33 but about 4-5 years ago I started having missed periods. I visited my doctor and was put on progesterone pills, etc and nothing worked. Then went on the pill and started having them (after a month or few) pretty regularly. About two years ago it started happening again only I would go for two or more months with nothing so started pills again, same thing. Doctor explained that I just don't ovulate as often as most women. Well, Now it has been six months without a period. Went to new Dr., did the progesterone pills, had ultrasounds etc... still nothing abnormal, even hormones normal so he said not menopause. He put me back on BC pills and said if nothing after the first pack to call him because "something is definately wrong". Guess what, no period! Does anyone have a clue or is there anyone out there in a similar situation? I don't mind not having a period as long as it is a normal thing but the curiosity is killing me and they act like they have no idea why I don't have a period! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/confused.gif

I don't have any answer for you but you're doing as much as you can. Just see the doctor as much as they want you to. Everything checks out. Worrying isn't going to help. So be glad for the good things. No period.

Find out what hormones your doctor has checked. Here is a site to tell you the reasons for not having a period. The thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal glands can affect your period also. http://www.healthtrust.com/intmed/Access2Cons2/ConsConditions/Amenorrheacc.shtml
