Hi, Does anyone else get a tingling and numb feeling in their head and on left side of face? It is mostly on my left side. Thanks Jen

I get tinglings like that, too ... don't know if it's related to all my other symptoms, though. It's almost always from the neck up, sometimes more prickly, sometimes there's numbness; like this morning, I have numbness around my chin and bottom lip area.
But, if that's your only symptom, it could be from some other condition. Do you have other symptoms?

I have been doing alot of research on menopause symptoms. This sharp/tingling is normal, especially in the head area, and is generally thought to be a precursor to a hot flash.

Wow....I've been experiencing tingling/numbness on the left side of my face for a while now (I'm 45 and have other 'weird' menopause symptoms) but never related it to menopause. I had my teeth x-rayed/examined, even went to a neurologist, both could find nothing wrong.
Isn't this time of our lives just grand???? :) No wonder they used to think women went crazy during menopause!

Misery loves company! I've had it too! I thought I was having a stroke, though...but, then it finally went away. :) I NEVER would have attributed it to peri-menopause either...but did consider sinus problems as well. If anybody finds out...WHY does it happen???

I have this foggy feeling in my head especially in the morning. I've also had a sensation of burning, similar to that of a sunburn in the back of my head, arms, chest and back. I have posted recently on hit board. Would be interested in hearing how you are doing or how you are treating these symptoms.
