I am 32 and 5 years ago I had my first child and ever since then I have had no sexual drive and it seems that all the doctors want to just do is put you on antidepressents. I dont feel thats my roblem because this year I have experienced night sweats and I feel very out of control usually the week before my period. I have had a couple of hot flashes. My husband doesnt feel I care about him anymore, and thats not true I just feel in my body that I am changing and feel very different since I have been in my 30's. What could be my problem?

Sounds like your first problem is your doctor! Get a referral to an endocrinologist or see another doctor or both. Low sex drive can be low testosterone. Look up Susan Davis on the net - she is the Australian at the forefront of te research. Her papers are on medline. Often low libido in women is related to te levels but it takes a sympathetic doctor/specialist to accept this thinking. I've had te ttmt and it worked for me!
And when you get to an endocrinologist remember that one test only for hormone levels isn't enough - they need to be monitored over time. Then remember that what is normal for many hormones isn't well establshed and what is normal for you may not be what is accepted as normal for the rest of the popn. In other words, stand your ground and keep searching for the answers. Doctors don't know it all. You know your body - they don't. Good luck!
