After reading many of your posts I just want to remind you that many of your symptoms
Hair Loss, Irregular periods, clotting, heavy periods, depression, exhaustion, brain fog, carpel tunnel, bloating, weight gain, ect... These are also symptoms of hypothyroidism.
Last year I thought I was perimenopausal and I went to my gyn because I was having more than one period a month. He took a biopsy, which turned out okay. He never offered me any explanation as to why this was happening. I mentioned my weight gain and inability to lose weight no matter what, and asked if somehow this could all be thyroid. He told me it was a weight loss plateau and I needed to exercise more.
Fast forward today, despite normal thyroid results twice, I insisted that it was my thyroid and my gp ordered an ultrasound and guess what I have hashimotos thyroid disease. But my bloodwork all came back normal. Remember that.
Also I am 44, I know I am not going through menopause yet. Be very wary of docs that want to give you hrt or hysterectomys. That to me is very scary, it is a very easy way out.

Thanks Girly :)
I'm 48 and am still perimen. I only have irregular periods and occasional bloating, thank God.. Just starting losing weight in the hip/thigh area due to my stationary bike riding routine.
