Hi,
I am new to these boards,so bare with me here. I have not had a period in almost three years and my feet started to hurt in the past few months where they felt like I was walking on bare bones,I thought maybe it was my shoes, but it kept coming back the pain. Well about three weeks ago I started to get bad itching and what I thought was a yeast infection, then 2 days later my feet started again I could hardly walk for three days. Then I got the surpise a period it started out heavy, clots then it turned rusty color to brown it lasted for 5 days. After is was over my feet didnt hurt as much. I went to the doctor she sent me for a ultra sound I just got back, won't know anything for a few days.I also have some pain on both my sides, like where your tubes would be. Any one ever hear of anything like this? Can female troubles effect your feet? I can't figure it out!

Hi, Chey :)

Are you taking any perscription medication for anything ?

I have a functional cyst on my ovary
from not ovulating which was picked up an an ultrasound.I kept have back aches and little dull aches where the ovaries are. My tubes are fine, though. My feet never hurt, but during peri-menopause, I developed carpal tunnel syndrome from the hormal changes. It's not bad carpal tunnel syn.however.Not formally diagnosed either.I did the self-test and it resulted in what it says carpal tunnel is.

From what I understand, just about anything can happen when we go through peri & menopause. My doctor is very keen on not giving hormone meds out especially if any of his patients have a history of breast cancer in their family.

We can develop allergies at any time in our lives regardless of hormonal changes.

Please write a follow up post about your results and if you have any questions that I can address or need support, I'll be here.

Hi Chey,
Yes I have had the pain in my feet. Hard to walk and tingling, also in my hands. I have had full blown hives many times. I too went for an ultrasound. Endometriosis, is what I was told. I had a tubal in 85 and I have had the tenderness in the sides and around the belly button.
I will be interested to see what your results are from the ultrasound...please let us know. I have started the peri stage.....2 periods a month... :(

Keep us posted and welcome

Hi dear ladies,

I, too, have had very paunful, burning, tingling in my feet and at times in my fingertips. It started about 1 year ago when I was perimenopausal.(pursued peripheral neuropathy treatments, with no benefit) My last period was in January and I suspect I am approaching meno now. For the last month, I have had recurrent hives and crazy itching, which may be relatedto our high pollen count and my airborn allergies. I strongly believe that my aggravated symptoms and my new symptoms are hormone-related. My plan is to see what my Gyn thinks of my recent hormone panel and then, if it is out of balance, I hope to supplement with natural compounded hormones. Wouldn't it be great to feel healthy again and not have to focus on so many physical complaints? Good luck to you all!
Sunny
