hello,
I am a 41 yr. old and have missed 2 period so I went to the store and got a ept. test and came up positive, I then went to a clinic and they took a pee test and came up positive also so now I thought I was p.g. I should be about 3 1/2 months now and today I seem to be having a normal period my question is could I be in menopouse and my body thinks its p.g. please help me if you can tn.

Hello TN,
Well you can have a normal monthly and still be pg, you can also miss months of bleeding and still get pg. I have been pg 6 times and have 4 living children. and 2 that are in heaven/(I am 35 now,youngest is 16 months old, Oldest going to be 18 yrs old and I had a complete hyst this past Aug.) I had bleed with all of them and I also missed to months before I even got pg. I also was pg for 3 months and all tests (even blood tests) came back negitive (that was with my son)and they found I was pg by a ut. SO you see anything is possible. Bodies are wierd when it comes to hormones and all that can happen inside.
Your best bet is to be checked by a doctor (OB/GYN) and have a ut done to make sure all is okay. And so they can see what is really going on.
Is this something you really wanted? Or is it a good suprise? Eather way you need to find out how far and what is going on.

Hello Chele,
Thank you for sending this reply I ending up going to the er last night they think I am losing it and want to run all this test on me well after 3 1/2 hours I had had enough so I came home. I am still bleeding and now hurting more, I beleive in my faith and what will happen will happen..they took a blood test and it came back I was p.g. but it also said I was only 7 weeks which is impossible I have to be3 months at least..I will go to a obgyn as soon as I can and thank you very much again..

I have faith to and I do know what you are going through. I lost 2 Angels in 98. So I do understand what you are going through. With my dd (she is 16 months now) I bleed with her for 3 months. I thought I was going to loose her like the others. But The Good Lord gave her to us.

I just got home from the hospital and I lost my child last night thank you so much for replying back I am going thru a lot now and it helps to know other people understand too again thank you
